2025 Mission Update

Seven years ago, in the Fall of 2018, I stepped back into my sweet spot as a pastor-at-large to speak, write, and coach leaders. I’ve been a free agent for most of my career, with only 15 of the 50 years in professional ministry on staff at a local church. Regardless of my position or title, the mission has always been to point people to Jesus. I’m still learning how to do that today.
HERE’S A SNAPSHOT OF MY LAST 7 TRIPS AROUND THE SUN …
In addition to speaking at events, I’ve had the opportunity to coach leaders across the country and around the world. Most have been face-to-face, but technology has allowed me to connect virtually from my patio in South Texas to leaders in South Jersey, South Africa, Australia, and beyond!
A big part of my mission is training leaders and providing 33 The Series resources to prison ministry and recovery center teams. Each team typically impacts approximately 100 men. Over the past 7 years, I have provided coaching and curriculum to more than 75 teams (about 7,500 men). Most of those teams have been supplied with free video bundle downloads and print-ready PDFs of the outlines from the 33 The Series Training Guides. Some teams have received complete Training Guides at a cost of about $90 per man for all six volumes, paid for by donations to TGM designated to the Authentic Manhood Initiative.
In 2020, the pandemic paused the world, and all of my in-person speaking events were cancelled. That created space and time to write new content, leading to the launch of Good Feed Media. The GFM App features high-quality disciple-making content, including multi-session small group series and Bible study tools. There is no obligation to pay anything—just the opportunity to pay it forward and help us continue to create quality resources.
Since its launch in 2021, the GFM App has had thousands of views! Donations from people like you help me cover the costs of producing new content and fund a more robust advertising strategy to raise awareness of this affordable and portable disciple-making tool.
My mission is primarily supported by donations and grants from individuals and foundations, followed by honorariums from speaking events, proceeds from Good Feed Media workbook sales, and a revenue share from 33 The Series resources purchased through my website. When the opportunity to pay it forward with Good Feed Media reaches a critical mass, this part of my mission should become self-sustaining.
